Have you met my friend Stanley?

Well it seems that we are in full swing playoff season! Vancouver is winning so I'm very excited for all of you Vancouver Fans (I'm actually not one by choice, just by association, I know how horrible)

I thought that since it's "Cup" time I'd dig out our pictures from last year... Sorry they are taken with Andrew Ladd of the hurricanes cause, well, they're the ones that won last year :D

Since Dalen actually saw the cup, he's always dissapointed... it's just a big metal cup. Lots of dents and scratches... And it's kinda small. But it's the spirit of the cup that we fight for!

There's my boy sitting in the cup!!! WAHOO! It was a great moment for us. It may seems sad to some who are reading it, but, you'll just never get it if you don't now! Andrew Ladd (born in maple ridge) was a great guy, very genuine and caring with the kids. He talked to everyone and answered the same questions over and over without complaint. He even brought pictures to have signed, which was nice because we didn't even know that he was coming and didn't have anything to be signed. I think that this one will be framed in our house for sure. Very fun. And Ephrim being Ephrim was very taken with him and walked right up to him and wanted up. It was very cool.

Anyone else have a Lord Stanley picture?

The Momma Bean Burrito?

Okay so I'm in the process of designing a swaddle blanket to sell... I've been trying to think of a name for it and I keep reading about how people call swaddled babies "Baby Burritos" so I've been thinking that maybe I'd call the swaddle blanket the "Momma Bean Burrito" or the "Momma Bean Burrito Blanket" What'ya think? I need some input. Is it too cheesy? Or just cheesy enough?

Thanks

Pictures.

Someone requested some pictures.. I dont' have very many as I'm at the In-laws right now but I'll post what I can find!
This is Ephrim in December.. a little out of Date but he looks pretty much the same :) He's with my neighbors little guy.
This was before they tore the walls out to lift the house.
This is the house fully lifted. Ten feet higher!!! I don't have any pictures of it with the walls all closed in yet. Dalen had Brian Schlamp and Michael Williams helping him. Michael was there for the whole week. He had to stop though because he was getting too far behind in his schooling ;)

What we're doing.

Well things are pretty basic here. Cleaning, playing, lots of reading. The kids and I are loving the little house on the prarie series! It's very exciting! We have two chapters left on the second book. I know what's coming and I'm so dissapointed!

I am also doing a lot of work with Ephrim right now. I am training him to stay near me and to sit in a chair with cars while I am on the computer... I am so terrible and not hearing him when he's off in the house and he gets into so much mischief. So I've decided that he is going to be a tomato staked baby. I realized that I needed to do this with him yesterday when I was thinking about camping this summer. He loves to wander and he's extremely quiet when he's off on his own. So he can get lost very easily. If I train him to always be with me then that will help tremendously. I also think that it will be very good for his character as he is extremely dissobedient and his nature is to test every little thing to it's max. His mouth is naughty too. He's always saying no when he's told to do something and whines and hasa tantrums when he doesn't get his way. Learning to be still will be good for him and will allow me to get things done faster so that we'll have more time to play!

Other than that we've been working on getting healthy. Ephrim is still sick.. his ear has started oozing again. So we're slowly gutting out refined sugar and flour. I made bread from fresh ground flour yesterday and it's nummy deliecious! It's very fun but I will have to save for a bosch machine with a grain mill attatchment. It's not that I mind the work of grinding the flour or kneading the dough (although it's nice to not have to do it) it just takes so stinkin' long and I dont'have a lot of time.

So for my birthday this year I am asking only for money, so that I can have some help in getting the bosch.. They even have red ones on ebay right now.

Well that's about all for now. I am going to go get ready for a jog... yes you heard me right I'm going to go jog.. WOOHOO!!!!!!!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well what can I say? The playoffs have deffinately started, and with one of the closest matched games I think I've ever whitnessed. Dallas last night was insane. They were on Vancouver like a dirty shirt and it took four periods of overtime to shake'em! Vancouver did Good, none better than Roberto!!!! I was extremely dissapointed in their power play in the first period of overtime. Not too sure what they were doing? Looked like they were taking a break. But they made up for it. The Sedin's finally snapped out of whatever funk they were in and started playing like the usually do. I'm exhausted today but it was worth it!!! What an amazing game... it can only get better from here!
I was really frustrated because it sounded like people were booing whenever Roberto would make a save but then Dalen pointed out they were saying LOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well here's to LOO!!!! He's got his game on and he's making his mark in hockey for sure....

I'm on the hunt for a triple jogger/bike trailer.

Anyone got any ideas... our stroller just isn't going to work for us. Trying to walk today in the rain was aweful because it was too cold for Adon to bike so I had to squish all three of them into the stroller..

If any of you know of a magical stroller that can fit three kids and be used as a bike trailer and will fold up to fit in the van... please let me know!
